Sep 11th 2008 12:53PM (Joystiq Nintendo)DS Daily: Favorite Nintendo game?
Aug 27th 2008 10:32AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Being playing Pokemon Diamond for the last 2 months.
DS Daily: Accessorizing
Aug 10th 2008 4:02PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I have the Pokemon Diamond carrying case that I don't use because it's the one with the transparent plastic inside to hold the DS in place. I bought it just because it's a Pokemon Diamond item.
For games I started with the ALS 3-cartridge case (3-Pack), but recently I got a Hori 6-cartridge case too.
Pelican screen protectors are a must for me.
No DS-specific case; I use a regular-cloth sunglasses slip case to hold my DS. It's a perfect match!
DS Daily: Bargain bin hunter
Aug 6th 2008 10:22AM (Joystiq Nintendo)A month ago or so I got 'Pokemon Diamond' (for me) and 'The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass' (for my wife) for $22.99 each at Amazon's Gold Box deals.
I have my eyes open looking for 'Advance Wars: Days of Ruin' at a discount price.
Fanswag: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2
Aug 5th 2008 1:37PM (Joystiq Nintendo)That being said, my favorite Pokemon is my *first* Pokemon: Chimchar and it's evolved versions (Monferno and Infernape).
I even bought a couple of Chimchar toys.
I want to add that after I was presented with the choice of 3 Pokemons to choose from at the beginning of the game, it took me about half-an-hour to decide :)
DS Daily: Protecting the precious
Aug 5th 2008 1:30PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I carry a tiny backpack everywhere I go that holds my DS Lite with extra games, Zune 80Gb with headphones, PDA phone, wallet, and gum.
I use a cheap sunglasses cloth bag/case to hold my DS. LOVE IT! It feels like it was designed for the DS Lite itself. It doesn't take any extra room at all, and it protects the device from scratches, which is pretty much ALL I am looking in a case since I'm extremely careful with my gadgets and toys.
Are games with puzzles a dying breed?
Jul 29th 2008 10:12PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I just bought an R4 10 days ago to load ScummVM for DS and replay all those old Lucas Arts and Sierra games everywhere I go.
