August is perfect. I'm so glad theyre not releasing it in November, but it makes sense, otherwise Activision would be competing against itself with the innevitable CoD and 20 other games.

While i like the idea of being able to customize seperate parts of your character, these helmets definately look out of place with the rest of the clothes (obviously). But wasnt there a 6 skin pack for like $3.99 in UC2? This pack seems lacking even though its cheaper.

No fix for party members getting thrown on the opposite team? I know alot of people on PS3 have this issue, not sure if other platforms do.

I miss the old Joystiq editors.

Theyve said several times on the podcast more of them prefer the360 and its library of games over PS3 but i dont think it effects each individual game review.

I prefer the PS3 myself but the beta showed exactly what the reviewer said: Theyre trying too hard to copy Call of Duty.

For those thinking of getting Socom for this beta i would wait. Killzone 3 offered Socom beta but not until after PS Plus got it.

@Cavall The whole game is filled with weird dialogue like that. Its great.

I feel as if this is what the majority of us want but Hollywood and activision see more dollar signs with a movie tie-in.
