What I don't understand is the exclusivity. This makes... six exclusive characters for the PS3? Capcom have already commented that the Xbox won't have any exclusives. I don't understand why you'd splinter or fail to support half of your gaming audience.

I have to agree with you, in a way. Heavy Rain shouldn't necessarily be on a legitimate Top 10, but after looking at the list, it should be on Time's Top 10. While I loved Alan Wake and I consider it the Xbox game of the year, I don't think it's the overall #1 game of the year (which is Mass Effect 2, far and away).

Halo Reach is a roll-your-eyes entry but the inclusion of Angry Birds at #2 is stupefying.

What 2010 PS3 games deserve to be on the list? God of War 3 didn't do anything new. Heavy Rain? I own it, it's merely okay. I can't think of any PS3 game that stands out with all the platforms considered.

I like that it's faster. I dislike that horizontal scrolling with the bumpers is slower. I absolutely HATE the color scheme. Sickly green (worse than XP) highlights and dark text on an off-white background. It's atrocious. Change it back or give me the ability to change my console's color scheme.

While skilled gameplay, this is _not_ a fresh character, which really hampers my enjoyment of this video.

The Halo 3 "believe" ad with the diorama is one of the best commercials I've ever seen, not just one of the best gaming ads.

That screenshot is clearly from Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. Dark Forces 1 was two-dimensional ala Doom.
