Aug 14th 2008 12:43PM (WoW)
lol i jus drop by once or twice a day to see if there are news i care about, this one wasnt one of em but i saw it mentioned so many times and with so many QQ posts that i decided to post a reply.
i think theres QUITE a dif between going to a free site and check the news and mayb post something, taking 5 mins of my time, than taking a plane and paying 100 usd and more cuz of hotels and spend some DAYS there.

Breakfast Topic: Does the levity mess up the lore?

Aug 12th 2008 1:00PM (WoW)
jeez, if u dont like nesingwary jus dont do his quests ,as simple as that its not as his part of the main plot of the game or something... same with ZA, the quests get done once and thats it, and most ppl doesnt even read the quest text, u jus watch rewards and the obj (i read quests at least once tho but i got lots of friends who have no idea about the plot of some really long chain quests cuz they never even read 1 of em)
u should also remind urself that it IS a game, why u want it to be so serious? i dont think wow was ever meant to be serious, i mean jus watch at gnomes and emotes?? and the cartoonish graphics, etc.
no serious game will ever have emotes.

What we're expecting from BlizzCon

they wont announce another wow expac now, that wouldnt make sense, and blizz also said that the other project they were working on wasnt related with wow.

Forum post of the day: Pushback on Pushback

Aug 6th 2008 2:52PM (WoW)
ive seen lots of argues here about rogue vs casters, even if they removed spell pushback the fight wouldnt change much. jus moving really quick through the caster when hes about to finish casting a spell, would screw up the whole casting, and that can be done really easily, i do that on my lock a lot when i see those noob mages frostbolt me as if i were some stupid mob. besides not even considering the out of sight thing, rogues have tons of stuns and interrupts, so no, it wouldnt change the fight at all. with warriors and other melee classes happens more or less the same thing but to a lesser degree, but still, pushback is there to also tell u something, u SHOULDNT cast any non instants spells when ur getting hit by a melee class, your just not supposed to.
the class i think would get really destroyed if they removed SP would be bm hunters or hunters overall, they cant really go out of sight and they have really few silences or stunns to interrupt ur casting, they really depend on the SP to prevent the casters from tearing em apart.
still i think its quite a lame game mechanic, at least when many mobs or players, that are grey lvl to u dont let u cast any spell cuz of SP, if they change this mechanic in any way, imo it should be to remove it from grey level mobs or making it less bothering when it comes from low lvl opponents. lol i remember the strath rats that zerg u when the gates close, i was there with my lvl 70 lock, and cuz of sp i couldnt cast anything at all, not even hellfire cuz theyd interrupt the whole channeling b4 getting out a single tic. of course that only happened when i wasnt paying attention. otherwise id brg vw and use mass taunt or sacrifice it for the shield so i could aoe or something. but still it felt kinda wrong.

and about the rogues being op and all.. i being a demo lock (ya mayb their op but still) have no trouble dealing with them at all, and since i have range i can normally dot tons of ppl on a bg and get a lot of range b4 they really notice me. same goes with casters that can nuke a lot of ppl from distance, the poor melee guys if they wanna hit some1 in a group (liek in bgs ppl normally goes alltogether which is kinda funny) they gotta charge in and normally are the first to die. still this is out of topic, but i guess u get the point. both have their pro and cons. melee classes also as some1 said might be "simpler" and "easier" to play, mayb ur right, and if u like an ez mod game, then reroll melee and stop complaining.

Warlock talent changes added to official talent calculators

Aug 4th 2008 6:43PM (WoW)
yea at some situations metamorphosis would be probably even OP, i mean lets jus say you are on 1v1 about to die then u cast this thing and ur full again! sure maybe you wont have as much dps as before but getting FULL mana and life on a 5min cd plus the bonus armor (although ur giving up soul link and quite a lot of more stuff that reduced damage, also the armor vs casters its QUITE useless) seems nice to me. im a pvper so i think itll come in handy. but what about pve? i think its tottaly useless for pve, getting ruin will give u way more dps, and sure, meta mayb will save on some occasions but that wouldnt be so often.
imo it needs some kind of, i dont know, some demonic aura or buff that helps the raid
