HVD will probably be for the 9th generation of gaming. 8th seems to early. And wouldn't it take game developers forever to make a LONG QUALITY game on that HVD disc?

Hey Kevlar Halo is overrated and over hyped. Guess what 1 and 2 are still good games and 3 has good online.

LBP is over hyped, yeah so what. Dark Knight was over hyped and that still rocked. It doesn't matter about hype it isn't hurting the game none.

PS3 has outsold 360 all months this year so far. Thats not failure. And 2009 looks even better for the PS3.

You don't know how hard it is to make levels dumbshit, you haven't played it yet. Gears 2 will suck, oh wait I haven't PLAYED it yet.

I skipped the 8th generation because if gaming survives that long it'll most likely happen in the 9th generation.

I'm very broke after buying a lot of stuff for my PS3. 500gb, Dualshock 3 to compliment my Sixaxis, 10 games+the 3 I already had.

Despite all of this i'll give my girlfriend's friend my Pro and shell out the money for an Elite this friday. The Arcade sucks for it. Seriously it costs as much as an 80gb PS3+its the already well established Xbox 360. It'll compliment my PS3. Side by side, black by black.

But parents won't care this Holiday season. Its cheap and thats all that matters to them. Unless you're 18 and still live with your parents and your name is Bob and you're in the basement 24/7 on the internet. THEN you'll get an Elite on Christmas Bob.
