I have to add my support to the keypad. It is great when you have a bunch of people in the family, and is also nice if you don't want to carry your keys around when you run or bike! It is really useful...

What about high end PCs? Don't those have like 1-kilowatt power supplies these days?

I didn't even know about the Halo 3 beta, but I downloaded the Crackdown demo and was really impressed--it is a very fun game.

I think the Halo 3 bundle is just more likely to draw in players who might not have tried Crackdown. But the strategy only works with a quality game.

What is so bad about the Five Hundred again? It is not a Porsche, but neither is the Camry.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Changing brand names is an odd way to make the point that changing brand names is stupid, but I see where they are coming from and I think it is a good idea.

Many people in the United States need trucks and use them properly. If you are selling trucks, advertising with sails isn't going to cut it.

Also, I really doubt that monster trucks contribute much to environmental problems, since there aren't very many of them.

I think it looks great. People who complain that it isn't the Euro focus are stupid--why spend the money to bring that over when the two will be brought back together in 2010? Besides, as soon as Ford did that people would complain that it the platform is "already x years old."

Also, can someone name something that is wrong with the underlying platform of the US Focus? I own one and it drives very well. When you consider the role the focus plays in the US market, and the fact that the Euro and US focuses will be brought together in 2010, this is a great product.

I own an 05 focus, and to repeat what some other people have said there is NOTHING wrong with the underpinnings of this car. The only tiny complaints I have are that my current interior looks a bit cheap (but its a cheap car--mine was new for under 13). It looks like this refresh fixes that, and if it updates the exterior too that's a nice bonus until the new version arrives.

It doesn't matter though--it will get poor reviews for no reason except that "it isn't the Euro focus."

The bottom line is that Ford/GM/Dodge have never put out bad trucks. Therefore, they haven't alienated tons of truck customers or created this image of poor products like they did in the car segment.

Do you know ANYONE who hates their F-150 or Silverado? I don't. I don't think domestic trucks have anything to worry about from Toyota. The only people driving Ridgelines or even Titans are people who live in the city and want a truck as a fashion accessory.

I hate Toyota, but #3 you are totally wrong. Having a latch system isn't just the little metal loop you see. The system requires that a huge portion of the interior be redesigned so that the forces from an accident can be taken by the seat. If the front seats weren't designed to use the latch system, then it may be extremely expensive to enable it.
