I've tried AriBnB in the past but the places I've gone didn't have any listings (corporate training in the suburbs). Because of work, travelling and Facebook I have friends in a lot of exciting cities so I haven't needed to use them yet. I'm sure one day airbnb and I will have something in common.

This is already done. But, it's carrier specific and GSM is an international standard. You could block the phone on AT&T but if whoever has your phone decides to go to T-Mobile there is little that can be done.

I wonder why the animosity. Erica just wants something closer to how its supposed to look. She isn't proofing or matching prints. When you are working with prints or photos, then a good colorimeter is a good investment, if you are working in MS Office or Xcode then you just want your white to be white, the text colors not be garish and your window contents to be legible.

I've got 2 Dell LCDs and the built-in profile was wildly off. Playing with the sliders didn't rectify the situation and the fact that there were 2 and each slightly off just made it more noticable. 30 minutes with a borrowed colorimeter sorted them both out.

Some things to point out. CCFLs need at least 30 minutes to warm up the phosphors properly. And recalibrating should be done every few months, but its not necessary, the only thing that changes is the brightness. LED-backlights are good for an incredibly long time. And they rarely change in brightness. They haven't been fully tested because they are still fairly new but LEDs are rated for 20 years under normal usage. And the brightness drops off exponentially so after 10 years it should be half as bright. Chances are you'll replace the entire unit before the LED even looses 25% of its output.

So for those that want to do it weekly you are free to do so, but 1/year is plenty for a lot of people.

Instead of putting the stream files into the main web folder you can put it into your user /Sites folder and therefore not have to escalate privileges.
So change /Library/WebServer/Documents/stream to ~{myaccount}/Sites/stream

Then the URL would be http://servername.local/~{myaccount}/stream/prog_index.m3u8

You guys don't get it. In the hacking world this is how the sausage gets made. Do you think pwnagetool and redsn0w and all the other hacks out there just appear out of thin air? No. it takes learning, experimenting and testing. I've still got a iphone 2G and can still remember how long it took, 5+ hours, to jailbreak iOS1.1.3. We didn't have the luxury of of jailbreaking applications. You found a loophole, uploaded a payload and execute it so you could upload other payloads.

These developments don't mean much to you but to the hacking community they are important.

Telling the guy where to sit was definitely not needed and his other two were really crappy.

But grabbing the guy's ear was definitely uncalled for. This is where the flight attendant should have been called in and either made the guy move his seatback or move the other passenger to another seat.

Acting like an adult in this instance would be way too difficult.
