Sharp intros first 100GB BDXL discs, Japan gets first dibs on July 30

@Openwave
Well I can tell ya that Blu-Ray definately looks better, but the Zune store has excellent instant-on streaming HD that also looks really good. I decided that since my PS3 was so worthless for games for so long that it was just better to turn it into cash and move away from physical media all together.

Zune marketplace does not require much hard drive space. It's streaming....but your internet connection definitely a problem.

Is anyone still using Blu-Ray? I sold my PS3 and decided I'd rather just watch movies in HD via Zune marketplace on my 360.

Is this going to be a press conference as in reporters will be allowed to ask questions? And if so is Engadget ready to ask some tough questions where necessary?

If not this may as well be another Steve Jobs keynote. I hope you guys at Engadget asked about the format of this press conference before hand and would refuse to attend if it's just going to be a publicity event where reporters aren't given a chance to ask questions.

Apple deleting mentions of Consumer Reports' iPhone 4 piece on forums, can't delete your thoughts

I agree, with this issue they have no standing on giving the iPhone a 9/10. If the phone's weakest area is the phone....and yet it still can get a 9/10? That's ludicrous. They need to be knocked for the error. It makes Engadget look inept to give a 9/10 to a product that consumer reports is telling it's customers to stay clear of until they fix their hardware issues.

I'm pretty sure I have the Dev channel. I really think this is soo much faster. I mean every page just snaps right up. I've only been using this for 20 min and I'm quite sure this will be my default browser.

@huskie fluff
This is nothing like mobile opera on Android. Opera Mini on Android is fast but awful in every other respect. The two versions aren't even in the same league of comparison.

I normally use Chrome...gotta say this is noticeably a lot faster than chrome! I'm kind of shocked it's so fast. Everyone should definitely try this out.
