FFXIV is the bread and butter console MMO, and considering MS wants other FF titles (XIII) on their console I'm sure they'd want this too, but something fell through. Why would MS want to let Sony have the console rights to any game? That's rather un-MS like.

I'm soooooo mad! I can't play with keyboard/mouse controls. I have tried many times and it is very uncomfortable to me, and plus I like my PS3 and big HD screen.

So I'm so mad at Square. FFXI stunk becuase we were a year a behind Japan and PC players, you get into a world without having a chance to be in the top at first. It stinks. Is there any American player that can say they liked being behind Japanese players by a year?

And now after promises of it being released multiplatform/ multi region at the same time... What a farce. I don't care if it Sony's fault or Square's. Sony's Playstation PLus is out now, so what's the problme? I doubt that would be a requirement anyways, I doubt that's the issue.

I doubt I will even play this now. I have very little desire to be 6 months behind other players. They should just keep the PS3 version PS3 specific and forget cross platform play if this is the case.

And if it really is doing as good as they say then you'd think it would be in the works still.

I hope this comes to PS3 before the big MMOs like Final Fantsasy XIV and DC Universe. I'd like to play this on PS3 but not sure I will much if it releases after those two. (I've already played it on PC, I just like playing my PS3 more). I wish Sony wouldn't leave gamers just hanging after they announce something over a year ago, just saying its still in the works for ps3 helps.

At my local walmart and gamestop the ps3's are out of stock, just checked this past week.

I bet however much work they had to put into making a remake of FFVII would easily be recovered in sales and then some though.
