The same thing happened to me with The Shoot Demo. Here's what I did.
My PSEye is placed at the base of my TV. If this is the same as yours, sit down and play the Shoot. I tried it standing up, and had the same experience as you. Sitting down, got a target on screen, worked like a charm.

Is there any way, if I import the game, that I can access this DLC? US account?

I just wanted to know, I'm about to finish the game for the first time on easy. I plan on playing through it again on Crushing. When starting that Crushing game, can I carry-over medals and stuff, without it affecting trophies?
If yes, then can I use one-shot kills/unlimited ammo in Crushing (assuming I've unlocked it) and still get trophies?
Or do I have to start a completely new game, like I did when I started it on easy, with no connections to my previous game, in order to get trophies?
