Ugh, stuff like this really irks me.

If he had to coax the employee into saying they had one left, they were probably keeping it for someone else. Someone who reserved it first, who may even have pre-paid.

And then this guy swoops in and gets it almost immediately because he's an irrelevant icon. UGH.

I'm surprised more people aren't looking forward to Orbital, like I am. It looks like it's going to be full of that tricky corner-trap gameplay that I love about Halo.

Recording the audio stream would count as reverse engineering? Really?

So I have a licence to use the game. The music is part of the game. Is that licence only to use the product in those specific circumstances or is it 'for personal use'? Taking the audio and putting it on my mp3 player for me to listen to later is also 'personal use'.

How does this apply to licensing soundtracks and the like? Now that I own GTA IV, for example, do I own a licence to the music contained in the game? Can I rip the tracks and then listen to it out of the game context using that licence?

bobeotm - you get a controller with the system, and older games than N64 are going for ten bucks on Live Arcade. Most multiplayer games don't require the nunchuck, either.
