Anecdotal, but the majority of people I know with RB (myself included) play on average at least once per week. I go through phases of playing more (every day) or less (once a week give or take) but it's always next to the console and the instruments are always at hand. I actually play less when people come over now, perhaps I'm just getting old though.

It's astonishing that a game can still have such a draw after such a long time. I think it illustrates that music "games" are a little bit more than just games.

what a technically interesting and utterly useless thing no one will use for more than 10 minutes... and the "power of the vita" is not needed for something like this, there have been similar tech demos (and better ones...) for literally years now for smart phones. Just give us a reasonable price point and a compelling gaming experience please... pretty please? no? dang

I agree, japanese sales don't match up with US/EU sales... for a Sony product they should be STRONGER... that said a used vita for $75 on ebay with the inevitably hacked firmware letting it do all kinds of great things will be pretty sweet.

Wow, people still missing out on mobile gaming due to fanboyism. I weep for your missed chances at fun. That said this is just yet another in a long line of half bakes, zero support, pointless attempts to take mobile gaming and make it something it's not. It's not even blue-tooth (more convenient) or have a mounting point for the device (fine for an ipad... on a desk... in an office. Try it with a phone, or on a plane, or any of the places people actually USE their mobile devices because they don't have a console or computer sitting there already...)

except that $400 is going to be for a 64gb+3G iPad 2... which new costs almost 1k and you could ebay or craigs list for likely double what GS will give you.

I'd be shocked if $400 wasn't for the top of the line in pristine condition. This is game stop, they're out to screw everyone every way they can...

If you want to sell an apple device hit up Craigslist, if you are savvy enough (can use google basically) and jailbreak you can usually sell a generation old device for what you paid for it new. If you don't want to deal with CL hit up good ole` ebay, you'll get more than GS and won't even have to go out side to do it.
