Well... My early 2008 (not Unibody) macbook pro is hotter than before, the GPU is being killed. GP5 doesn't work, aperture wont work my wireless is still flaky from 10.5.8 and my battery life has been reduce about an hour. Yes I've calibrated my battery and ensured that its not my network.
Not to mention the fact that it does not load the 64bit kernel and its extensions by default on anything but an x-serve...
I realize that as a fairly new commenter i have very little say or credibility, however i have seen this screen on a version of the beta Pre-public release. I'm afraid that's all i can really say...
in theory it could be more efficient if it was equipped with thermal sensors, although realy, i'm more paranoid about the implications of this thing in the wrong hands...
This is why 2008 will be like 1984.... This is really kinda pushing it. I see no real uses for this except throwing it in a room or other confined area and letting it shred everything inside. Hopefully the manual says please proceed with caution, this thing kills indiscriminately and randomly.
