Pokemon D&P video tsunami

The last I've played were Pokemon Blue and Gold and I'm rather disappointed that with the new generation of Nintendo handheld, they've still stuck with the same cheesy battle animations.

Sure, they were acceptable back then given the limitations of the GBC, but we're in the DS era now. I was expecting battle sequences on the graphics scale of Pokemon Stadium.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: Return of the Friend Codes

Just the add, the reason why they're sticking to Friends Code is to prevent well.. kids getting in contact with strangers (the bad type). When you think about it in that respect, its not so bad.

I wouldn't put past some people to get into an uproar about games allowing their young children from getting into contact with people the parents don't know about through the internet.

Spoiler Alert: Phoenix Wright: Justice For All footage

Two things ... I see a meter at the upper right. Is this the new metric for how well you're doing in the case? I always thought the five exclamation points in the original were way to easy to get around. Good to see there may be a difficulty increase.

Its a fair evolution away from the discrete 'five exclamation points' system. For instance, if you do something like, accuse the wrong person of murder, you should lose a major fraction of that 'health bar' or maybe the case entirely. And if you object at the wrong time, there's a smaller hit on the meter.

So it allows for varying levels of severity for mistakes.

I've also read, that the game comes with the 'psych-lock' feature, where if you point out contradictions, you unlock various parts of the witness' minds, which 'recharge' your health meter.

To offset this, the health meter is carried on through the entire episode, as opposed to previously only through each court day before resetting on the next.
