I completely agree, take a hint from google and at least make it skippable. I get to watch a 10 minutes worth of video on hulu in exchanger for a 15 second commercial.

@DigitalMenace I own both the nook and the iPad and I STRONGLY prefer the Nook to the iPad for book reading.

Barnes and Noble still hasn't released their damned iPad app so now they are using iBooks in the promotional photos.... AUGH!!!

True, but a lot of us and I mean A LOT of us that would be the ideal target audience for this thing already have iPhones and iPod Touch. It's just paying a lot more for a bigger monitor at that point.

Well I wouldn't buy an iPad. E-ink is for reading. Not LCD.

This isn't the first time Apple has teased and then ruined my day with an UI change. Tabs on top in the Safari 4 beta were like a breath a fresh air to me. I LOVED THEM. LOVED! And they pulled them out from under us when the full version was released. Except they didn't include a wonderful terminal command to fix it all with Safari (even though in the beta there was one to go back to normal tabs). Then to add insult to injury snow leopard disabled shoddy patch we who loved the feature were using and banned the beta version altogether.

Do you guys have problems connecting to Windows Server 2008 with Cord?

That is a common ringtone for older Cisco(?) office phone systems. We used to have the same ring at my company but I can't remember which company made the phone. Maybe Lucent?
