Home items selling like hotcakes

Dec 23rd 2008 10:14PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Hey, another negative article on Home by the Xbox360... I mean PS3Fanboy staff. Right off the bat with a 'We're not sure why...' dig.

You guys are truly pathetic.

Whoops! No Red Bull Air Race this year

Wow, another PS3fanboy article on Home with a negative slant. Surprise, surprise. Why don't you guys just give it up and stop pretending this is anything but a negative spin site funded by M$.

Does this fool anyone? Seriously...

Under Siege coming exclusively to PS3

Umm, you can tell from the only image provided that there's an elfish chap, a sturdy fellow with a broadsword, and a freakin hobbit-like guy as well. Gee, I wonder what this game could be about?

Boggles the mind, sometimes...starting to think Idiocracy was a documentary...

Asian Home expansion brings Tekken, Soul Calibur, Ridge Racer rooms

Another PS3fanboy article with a negative spin on Home. What is up with this site and these anti-Sony writeups like 'Home is getting bigger (well, it couldn't get much smaller, could it?) '

STFU already, and reveal yourselves as the Xbot sellouts you really are...

Hey Justice,

Quit trolling the PS3 forums and go back to your Xbox dungeon. You people have WAY too much time on your hands, and outta get a life. At least you aren't a threat to procreate...

I downloaded Home in less than 3 minutes, and it has been lag free and smooth sailing since last Friday. For all the people complaining, call your bloody ISP and don't complain here...

The struggles of selling an original IP -- Sony talks LBP sales

Nov 19th 2008 4:31PM (Joystiq Playstation)
You're either an X-troll or an idiot.

Support has been awesome, there are PLENTY of incredible user levels out there, and any server issues they have had are the norm - remember GTA IV's launch, or Warhawk, or COD4, etc.

If this doesn't continue to sell to the point of being one of the all-time bestsellers, it will further underscore the sad reality that the majority of gaming consumers are absolute imbeciles.

And I know they are - it's just that you'd hope people would see something this wonderful for what it is, instead of slack-jawing it to the counter and plunking down $60 for shoot-me-please-IV.

Sony lays down some LittleBigPlanet laws

And you didn't report it? I'll do so tonight if you don't.

Getting really sick and tired of all the moaners complaining that their "tribute" levels get pulled off the online servers. They're mostly crappy, and I vastly prefer some of the original ideas I see more and more of each day. This level you're referring to has no place in a game like this, so just like youtube it's gonna get reported.

And once that starts happening, people will wise up and stop wasting their time (and ours!). You can still create all the inane, sophmoric levels your teenage heart desires, but leave them on your moon and nobody will care.

I personally find the search works quite well, but it does rely on the appropriate tagging of each level. I wonder if those complaining even understand how it works, and how simple yet brilliant it actually is.

And you can see the play/heart count on every level before you play. The tags tell you what kind of level it is, and if you have post-Grade 5 math skills, you can figure out whether it is worth playing. Duh!

"E is for Everyone" means you aren't more important than the rest of the community. The whiners are those who fail to appreciate this one simple point (let alone the rather clear EULA they agreed to...)

The included map editor is the real draw with FC2, and it should keep the online scene fresh and interesting for some time to come...

Top 5 LBP levels of the week: a call for nominations

Nov 11th 2008 1:14PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Oh, shut it already. I'm sick and tired of all the 'tribute' levels, and most of them are pure crap. MM/Sony have already commented to say the will request that the author make specific changes before republishing from now on.

Anything they do to promote original content is much appreciated in my view. So put your wet blanket away for Krissake...
