I just bought Up through Child's Play for my local children's hospital! What a fantastic movie.

I still haven't seen the Fantastic Mr. Fox so I think I'll catch that with some friends this week.

I think you guys are misinterpreting this, and no wonder given the headline (80% of female console players prefer Wii). On the slide (and in the original article) you can see that this is for primary players - these stats are only considering when the female is the primary player in the household.

My husband and I have both a Wii and a PS3, and I play the PS3 quite a bit more than the Wii lately. However, he plays the PS3 slightly more than I do, so I wouldn't be considered the primary user even though I am racking up plenty of hours.

All you can tell from these stats are exactly what they say: of females who are the primary console player in their home, most of them use the Wii the most.

It would be great to see a survey of all gamers, not just the females who are the primary player in their household (though I do think it's an interesting segment of the population - just inaccurate to extrapolate it to female gamers as a whole).

Thanks for the recommendations! We went out and bought Beatles Rock Band, Arkham Asylum, Bowser's Inside Story, and Scribblenauts..haha.. quite the weekend. I'll have to wait a while to check out your suggestions!

I'm not sure what we'll be playing! The Mr. is writing his last exam at the moment so I hope we'll be celebrating with games. We'll probably attempt to find a Beatles Rock Band somewhere... haven't bought any new games since picking up Punch Out and RE5 in May. We have a PS2, PS3, and a wii (and a couple of DSes) and I welcome any recommendations!

Ahh, I *have* to sit around all day tomorrow waiting for furniture to be delivered, so I have no choice but to play video games! I will probably start with some FFVII, Mario RPG and EA Active and when the Mr. gets home we'll do some RE5 co-op.

It's payday tonight too so I might pick up something new..hmm..

We only have the 40 gig version and I'd rather have the space for game, so PlayStation home got deleted!

I wonder if he'll take orders from Canada! Like others I would rather support him than the chains around here. I wouldn't mind waiting for a game to come in the mail.
