This must feel like that time I downloaded a new demo on PSN and it turned out to be the full game. Except way better.

If only I wasn't waiting for the white model. And lived in Canada. ):

@DekuTree I was speaking more of consumer trust. When a new product is revealed, and they promise a set of very specific features (Video recording, movie streaming) which take many months to come out after localization time, some of which never come out at all, you can't help but feel a little burned. Especially when the upcoming competition is giving the same features promised in a more-than-timely manner, when they weren't even offering it as a main feature.

But if the Vita ends up missing half of it's features at launch, takes an $80 price-drop and then segments it's userbase with an almost-necessary attachment, I'll be feeling the same way for it. Until then I can easily see which device looks worth the purchase.

Vita gets video recording (was this even mentioned) before it's localized, 3DS took like a year (when it was promised at the E3 showing).

And they have movies on the playstation network..3DS promised 3D movies and here I'm waiting. Think I'm jumping ship again!

@pluupy Harmless? The final boss involves swiping left and right on your touch screen, and on the hardest difficulty it -never ends-.
Not only did I never beat it because it was impossible (trying made my arm completely lock up), but the amount of scratching permanently broke my touch screen (in that touching the left and right sides of the screen made the stylus no longer line up).

Harmless it isn't!

I imagine for some it'll have purchase merit just for having more than 3 courses and 5 cars!

@Dekkadekka I'm fairly certain that this is an eShop 'feature' for all the demos, not something Capcom decided to add.

And although I'll agree that 30 tries is more than enough, I hate that it creates a limited lifespan of the demo in that it can't last forever. I have some Demo Disks for my PS1 from the Playstation Magazine that I very rarely get a kick out of popping in and playing some old demos.

With the eShop demos, I'll get 30 tries at it. May be enough, I doubt I've exceeded 30 tries at my Spider-Man and Grinch demos, but what happens if the demo is removed from the eShop (think wiiware) and disappears forever post 30-plays? What if the demo contains content different to or non-existent in the final game? (Such as beta content extracted out of demo disks). Really hate that limit.

#4 placement better ensure a localization for type-0!

@Oddgirl You didn't seriously just use the "you wouldn't steal a car" analogy, did you? The legality of downloading a 'backup' copy is iffy, but you'd be a fool to compare it to stealing a car.

That's a shame! Kirby Super Star for SNES is one of my favorite games. This one sounds like a sequel, though the SNES game actually got pretty difficult at times!

Though I'll still get it for the multiplayer, which is what made Super Star so great. Not much is more fun than having your friend hop on top of you in the Wheel powerup.

Got Tri as my first Monster Hunter due to it including online multiplayer, and was going to buy this version as well. (But not anymore)
