Phantasy Star Zero isn't on your list. Not sure if it's "GOTY" but it's up there. (One of the few 3D games that is also pretty.)

Slot-1 is also viable for peripherals. If they turned the game cart into a grip as well or put a slot in the grip or simply made it a DSiWare (download) title, then it would work just fine on the DSi.
