Granite

Frankly, I consider Paul WS Anderson to be an absolutely terrible director. The Mortal Kombat films were even cheesier than old Jackie Chan films (which are extremely corny, by the way).

The first movie was abysmal...and the stupid laser grid carried over into Resident Evil 4 (the game).

The second movie was embarassing. Basically, the entire Ashford family was made into a pathetic, snivelling joke; Jill Valentine was a fool...an absolute fool; Alice should not have powers...in fact, she should be dead; and Nemesis was a mindless killing machine. In the game, Nemesis had to be killed by being dumped in chemicals, shot with a giant rail gun, and nuked. Nemesis was awesome in the game. In the movie, he was a loser.
