Sep 17th 2008 11:15AM (Engadget)Looking for PSN Cards? Have you tried your local Blockbuster?
Sep 15th 2008 9:29PM (Joystiq Playstation)Also, the card costs $20/$50 exactly, so the tax comes (if your state taxes you for online purchases) WHEN you buy from the PSN Store, not when you buy the actual card.

Too bad they don't have the GOTY used, or I'd be all over it.
AMD VP says netbooks only good "around the house"
Sep 15th 2008 2:25PM (Engadget)For me, it's a netbook, because netbooks are easier to carry around to my classes. Also, I don't need the power of a regular notebook because I have a desktop in my dorm room. The netbook is mainly for taking to class for notes, doing homework outside if it's nice out, or walking to other rooms to hang out with my friends but still have the ability to be online.

Sep 4th 2008 1:08AM (Engadget)Guess I'll have to decide between the AA1 and the MSI Wind.
Which would you all recommend? I'll be using it only for browsing the web, chatting on AIM, possibly taking notes (as I am a college student).
Also, I will be walking around a lot with the laptop [probably] in my backpack, so I would assume the AA1 is better for that because of the SSD. Not sure if the screen size makes a huge difference...I don't think 1 inch justifies a $100 higher price tag. The AA1 also has the 6-cell battery. And I've had MSI has been putting bad parts in their Winds...
So I guess I'm leaning towards the AA1 (1GB, 6-cell, Linux version for $400 on Newegg), but if anyone has any reasons I should go with the Wind (or any other netbook), let me know.
I don't want to spend more than $500.
