Sony investigating PSP Brite screen issues

Oct 20th 2008 7:12PM (Joystiq)
It really pains me to see that the QA has went out the window at Sony. I really like Sony's consoles and would like to see more games come out for them. However, if things like this keep happening, devs will not want to spend as much time on hardware that is not being bought due to the rep Sony will get because of things like this.

Come on Sony! Please don't tell me the sky is brown where you are at right now!?!

I think Griff is just a kid. But even so, it would only be evidence of what they are teaching in school these days...Socialism/Liberalism.

Don't get mad at the Griff, get mad at his teachers/professors...

WAR's latest weekly realm population bonuses

Oct 19th 2008 9:20AM (Massively)

I've all but given up on this game. I got burned by a guild that taxed the hell out of its members and then it disbanded!

I have been not able to get any good PQ's going either. Quests are good, but I have been on 'hold' for what seems like forever to get into a pvp scenario.

I really liked this game and its potential is great if they could balance all the activity it is supposed to provide (solo quests, public quests, scenarios, RvR's).

I will cancel my subscription, wait a few months and see how it turns out and in the meantime, catch up on my console games, I just got Dead Space and I have a few others I can catch up on while waiting to see how WAR progresses.

Warhammer Online getting two new tank classes

Oct 18th 2008 5:31AM (Joystiq)
I was skeptical too. But when I bought my Gateway P-7811FX from Best Buy, I just picked it up as my freebie game when they had their sale.

Knowing what I know now, I would have paid for it. It's been well worth it and if Mythic continues to update and address player's concerns as well as they have, they will have a good solid core of players for quite some time.

Go ahead and try it Jack. Just keep in mind that it is a PvP type of MMO more than a PvE MMO.

Good luck and have fun!

That maybe so, but I'm sure that he radiates his 'awesomeness' to the rest of EA for no extra charge! ;)

Good deal!

Ever since Mr. Moore went to EA, they've been getting their act together!

I can't wait to suit up as a Blackguard. It will be a good alt to my DoK.

I really wish they would make some of the 'Order' classes look more 'cool'. I know the 'Destruction' side is a little more populated because of the 'coolness factor'.

@ brickwalker0

Usually (and I use that term lightly), MMO players are dedicated to their genre. However, there are quite a few of us that do play console games too. I myself took a break from my 3 consoles to get some MMO time in. Once I 'burn out' I will go back and play catch up on all the great games that came out while I played my MMO (this case, WAR).

Mythic did a really good job on this MMO, I am thankful for all the MMO's out there and knowing that I have options other than WoW, i.e., EQ 1 or 2, LOTRO, DDO, Vanguard, PlanetSide, SWG, etc. WAR is actually the first MMO that pulled me away from EQ1 after all the others failed.

Kudos!

Obama ads not just in Burnout Paradise

Oct 16th 2008 6:20PM (Joystiq)

I live in AK and I can tell you right now that 90% of the crap that's going on about her in the state is because of all this BS political crap. I don't agree with her on quite a few things, but she's still got more executive exp than Obama OR McCain.

I can't wait for all this to be over too. I'm pretty tired of all this crap. I'm prepared either way. I am prepared to live in a liberal socialist society or conservative capitalist society.

Just don't make my gaming habit a damn political issue! That goes to either of you Obama/McCain Fanboys!
