MM9 was actually on my maybe list, simply because I've got so many xbla games to get. I downloaded the demo and had to buy the full version after playing through the first part of the level. Everything in the game hearkens back to the old days of MM2, and I was particularly pleased with how the game looks in 720p.

War World's demo sucks, plain and simple. You get maybe 30 seconds to try one of the worst mechs in the game. Overall it seems ok, but the controls aren't as tight as they needed to be.

Interestingly Evil Avatar posted that Age of Booty would be released on Tuesday of this week (Possibly to make up for the loss of connectivity to XBL today?) If so that is 2400 points I will have to spend this week, on top of Duke 3d I missed last week. I need some sort of xbla welfare please!

Maybe I'm thinking more God of War. It's the highly stylized combat of swinging around hitting everything in fancy arching moves, when all your doing is pressing 1 button. Feels more like the game has decided your boring and has decided to have fun by itself.

How much do I love CC? Well I did kind of Wake up at 2 am to check and see if it was posted on Live arcade this morning... The fact that my cat was scratching at my door had NOTHING to do with that at all
