That doesn't solve the problem at all, especially considering customs can check your incoming packages at any time and confiscate any banned material. All you're suggesting is a short term work around which is becoming less and less of a viable option anyway.
If more people actually cared about a proper solution like Ethan, instead of sitting at home and going "Oh I'll just import it", then there would be a hell of a lot more people at these things and most likely no need for importing at all in a much shorter period of time.
@trew: Actually in every major region other than Japan not only are Microsoft selling more consoles but their sales are actually increasing whereas Sony's are decreasing. This was shown with the recent release of not only NPD stats, but European and Australian stats as well.
Actually it isn't. Patents are acknowledged in just about every country except China and a few other areas. So actually it's perfectly legal for them to pump out this stuff.
