Seems to work now, just registered my key. I don't need another MMO, but this seems oddly interesting, so I can't stay away.

I just started a new character on Landroval myself, it has an amazing community! I got to catch a concert by "Chetwood Mac", a nice cover band, and found a lot of people willing to simply enjoy in-game events. I don't think F2P will ruin this community, it is too strong as it is now to not simply grow with new players interested in this sort of immersion.

Just tried Star Wars Galaxies, and I love it! It currently is the best pay to play game that runs well on integrated intel graphics chipsets, IMHO.

I suffer from this same affliction. Lately, I went back to a game because I still had cash shop money left in it, and am liking the game again (and haven't spent all of the money!). Even then, I wonder if there is something better, or different, that may have all the required qualities in a game I like to play.

My desktop has all of the crap I've tried to get working on this laptop, I have not uninstalled anything (yet). This is going to be heavily trimmed:

This game is a stutter-fest for me in graphics.

Definitely playing this, if the traditional Koei OCD touches are put on the sim aspects of trading, we will be looking at a successful F2P game.

Supposedly, this came from their licensing with Ubisoft, and Ubi doesn't want them to publish it in NA yet...which sucks. The game is great. We all closed beta tested it, but now we can't play? Total crap. I hope Ubisoft will get their crap together and do something about this.

But, I will say, according to their forums, non-Asia people can still connect, and people are currently having problems connecting due to server load being high. Maybe that's why they REALLY restricted it, demand is too high for them! TQ's games aren't in that top tier of F2P anyway in the US, but this is highly anticipated by many Western gamers, and the gameplay is all there!!!

The GW payment model is more like we were traditionally used to from our PC games: Pay once and enjoy forever. If it is possible to keep a game profitable with box sales at $50 each for game/expansions with no subscription, by all means, PLEASE do it!
