Verbinski doesn't have that distinct directing style that others like Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese have. When you watch a film it has a style that let's you know they directed it, and no one else could have made the movie.

The movie is hit because of its star, Depp, not the director.

If you go back and read his past reviews of the Wii, he obviously has a nintendo bias.

OlderGamerDude, not everything about the Wii from those sites have been positive. That's just bull crap. Ign has reservations about Metroid, Gamespot talks about how difficult it is to get use to the controller for Red Steel.

Alot of people don't have access to the old systems and games and would love to play these classic games over again. If nintendo had revealed all their information about the virtual console he would bashing them for giving too much information

Joystiq is the ony one with negative comments about this game. Both ign and gamespot have said great things about Madden.
