Bethesda releases yet another fix for Fallout 3's The Pitt DLC
Apr 4th 2009 10:56PM (Joystiq)Can't enter "The Mill" anymore (from any entrance) without a severe lock-up, requiring shutting off the console. Happens on either of two Xbox 360 Elites I play the game on. Happens with any/all of my Pitt save-games now, old or new.
Anyone from Bethesda reading Joystiq on a regular basis? (I'd recommend it. ;)
If so, lemme know and I'll snail-mail my save-games on a memory card to ya; maybe that'll help finally track down and squash the freezing problem.
PS: "'Activate' steel ingot"? How about "Take" instead.
PPS: Next game, or next DLC, how about a one-button "Remove and drop" option, or something similar, for those hundreds of file cabinets, lockers, desks and crates that hold useless junk, but that I'll probably wind up checking again days or weeks later when I run across 'em again. Right now it's a pain to take, and then drop, the junk I don't want, in order to get the default "[Empty]" message to display when I look at a container.
Otherwise, game rocks. Can't stop playing.
Speaking of which, gotta get back to it...

Aug 22nd 2008 2:26AM (Download Squad)A few notes about Doom: Don't bother with Doom95. Compared to more modern source ports/front-ends, it's buggy and underpowered, and doesn't always run well under modern OSes.
For a classic-Doom experience on modern PCs I'd suggest Chocolate Doom or PrBoom.
