@Cave Johnson You're completely missing the point. It's about reporting the information without highlighting the source, who is potentially breaking NDA. People make mistakes and this article could have still been written with names omitted. Even on a public profile, the regular traffic to that profile is probably close to nonexistent at best, until something like this. Sure, Ben/Joystiq isn't bound to an NDA and they can print this, but that doesn't mean he's not being a complete a**hole by doing it.

I hate the word "Cheevos" as slang for achievements so very, very much.

I think it's ironic that even though people were complaining that TF2 was getting more love than L4D, the preorder bonus for L4D2 is a TF2 hat. It makes more sense, sure, but I still think it's funny.

They did fail at one thing.... Their clouds are not repainted bushes (or vice versa) like they are in the game!

Everyone saying "People who pay this much for fake drums are idiots" and "$300 for a 3rd party controller?" are the ones being idiots. This is NOT JUST A VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER. These ARE REAL DRUMS. Electronic drums that REAL MUSICIANS get are just like this. This is not a set for people who just want to play the game, this is for people that also want REAL DRUMS that they can USE OUTSIDE OF THE GAME.

Even the company making these drums, ION, is a REAL ELECTRONIC DRUM MANUFACTURE.

To me $300 is a steal for what you are getting. But yeah, its not something just for the gamers, its for people who actually want to buy a real set of drums in the process. So quit making your high and mighty claims that it is only something idiots would buy. You guys are the idiots that don't even know what you are commenting on.

Being a huge fan of harmonix (though I also like Guitar Hero). I'm not buying any more activision products (all games, not just GH. I'll rent instead) until this is fixed. Yeah, that's not a big impact for them, but I'm not going to give a penny to a company that acts like a bunch of scumbags if I can easily avoid it.
