DirecTV drops G4, says it's 'among the lowest rated networks'

@sigma8 "It was basically a late-era (post-Tesh) Entertainment Tonight of videogames." Never has a more eloquent truth been uttered.

Paul Robertson's art style is awesome; I'm glad he's been able to put his talent to an actual commercial video game (though if he has already done so in the past, I guess I'm oblivious to it). If you haven't seen his other stuff, check this animation he did out--you can see why it almost screams 'let me make an actual video game pls' --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSdoDjcI5VE

Joyswag: Alpha Protocol-themed 8GB iPod Touches [update]

May 28th 2010 12:34PM (Joystiq)
According to Hollywood, ipods can be used to take over network firewalls, crack into gps satellites for hijacking robots/vehicles remotely, and for phreaking phone lines. The question is more why WOULDN'T a spy have an ipod touch in his arsenal? (so long as he was in a Hollywood Movie)

I would do what snake did in MGS4 with his ipod: Listen to awesome MGS tracks as I'm slinking around in octo camo. Also prolly load up some podcasts with developer commentary that help me with strategies and give me insight into how the designers and developers made the level design work.

Wait, real life isn't a video game. That's not going to work...

Are you serious? That's Anya? Oh wow I feel stupid, I thought it was some blonde haired male soldier too, a la Final Fantasy games... So it IS a female playable soldier...

if it's like the ps2 taiko games, I'm on board (i.e. using an actualy taiko drum controller, and not the wiimotes)

Review: Tales of Monkey Island (Launch of the Screaming Narwhal)

@copa

Sam and Max humor has been like that since the comics and the first adventure game, so really either you like that kind of humor or you don't. That being said, I wouldn't judge your enjoyment of it based solely on the first episode; that was telltale's first attempt at this sort of thing and they have absolutely gone leaps and bounds better in each subsequent episode. The second season of Sam and Max alone is a good enough example of how much better they got. After doing Sam and Max and various other projects, they tackled Homestar Runner (of which the first episode was also obviously them trying to find their ground, and each episode got extremely better after that one), so by the time they got to Wallace and Gromit, they have had a couple of these under their belt.

@Velsar

I really don't understand posts like yours. I know we have the whole internet and free speech but come on... Take a step back and really look at what this is: this is a news post about a music game that is a genre of music you obviously HAVE NO INTEREST IN. Why make the comments? Are you trying to convert people? It really more seems like you feel like tooting your own horn and blowing hot air than commenting on the article in question. When people make aimless comments on news that they have no interest in, it just makes you look like either you're trying convert people or just argue for the sake of arguing. Go find some other forum to be a douche.
