Jul 7th 2009 3:23PM (Joystiq)Sam and Max humor has been like that since the comics and the first adventure game, so really either you like that kind of humor or you don't. That being said, I wouldn't judge your enjoyment of it based solely on the first episode; that was telltale's first attempt at this sort of thing and they have absolutely gone leaps and bounds better in each subsequent episode. The second season of Sam and Max alone is a good enough example of how much better they got. After doing Sam and Max and various other projects, they tackled Homestar Runner (of which the first episode was also obviously them trying to find their ground, and each episode got extremely better after that one), so by the time they got to Wallace and Gromit, they have had a couple of these under their belt.

Jun 5th 2009 12:41PM (Joystiq)I really don't understand posts like yours. I know we have the whole internet and free speech but come on... Take a step back and really look at what this is: this is a news post about a music game that is a genre of music you obviously HAVE NO INTEREST IN. Why make the comments? Are you trying to convert people? It really more seems like you feel like tooting your own horn and blowing hot air than commenting on the article in question. When people make aimless comments on news that they have no interest in, it just makes you look like either you're trying convert people or just argue for the sake of arguing. Go find some other forum to be a douche.
