know the game was highly anticipated at least.

Yeah.... The original Ninja Gaiden (remake) sold really well and had good critical reception. Not sure how that gives it a bad track record....

I'm not sure what kind of comment game you guys are playing, but I would agree that it looks pretty terrible.

I found the first game to be quite amusing. I didn't finish it 100%, but I actually played it through to the closing cut scene, which is far more than I do for 90% of the games I get.

Agreed. I'll be picking this up on day one as well. I love the series on PC, but when I'm gaming on my 360 I just want to sit back on the couch and relax - not lean over a mouse and keyboard.
