Jul 28th 2010 11:40AM (Engadget)"There's only one kind of race; the human race."
I couldn't agree more with your sentiment.
But, just for the sake of accuracy, there is no such thing as the human race. There is the human species.

What is this tiny Apple touchscreen that just leaked in Taiwan?
Jul 9th 2010 11:36AM (Engadget)My guess is that the new Apple TV will have a touch screen integrated into the device (not as a remote). This could be it.
I think it'll be more like an Apple Media device than an Apple TV. It'll do TV, music, radio, etc, and its interface will be a touch screen.
I have a PS3, which people refer to as a multi-media device. I've always disagreed with that because it's a device that requires my TV to be turned on (unless via PSP). I don't want my TV turned on to listen to music. This is where all next-gen consoles fail as media devices. They require the TV to be on to do anything. I think that Apple sees that, and that an integrated touch screen would solve the issue.

Verizon Wireless changing to Verizon this Sunday, massive new branding campaign planned? (update: no name change)
Jun 25th 2010 12:56PM (Engadget)Something about that logo/name combo is really unappealing to me. The logo is pretty ugly. Mmm, I think maybe it's also the letter "z"... definitely not a cool letter...and the fact that "Verizon" doesn't mean anything. I just don't want to be a part of that for some reason..
