Pokemon trading figure game due next month

Aug 6th 2007 7:28PM (Joystiq)
These have been out in the UK for ages... and have been phased out.. at £8.99 ($18) for just 2 randomised figers.. without the bases which are REQUIRED to play the game, they are a bloody rip off.. though as a pokemon fan I still got a load.. but I always seem to get duplicates.. all I want is an Absol and Syther :(

uck.. and guitar hero has gone down since activision...
80's edition is total bollocks.. literally 2 INTERNATIONAL bands.. the rest american tat. UK and USA had very different tastes in the 80's.. the game should of represented this... and they really should of made an effort with the presentation and actually played the note patterns... theres some really awful ones, strained my hand cause of one of them.. and some don't even look like the time being played! Really terrible, i was even tempted to send them my DVD-R with some custom 80's tracks on and say this is how to do it you wa*ks

What a fantasic game, I really admire the work they've done to represent the physics of real life within the game. This would be an excellent teaching tool for all years.

Gamestop shenanigans sell open games as 'new'

Mar 25th 2007 8:00PM (Joystiq)
In the UK, 90% of retailers do this. Every copy we have in gamestation is gutted, placed in a plastic bag, stickerd and on the shelf. And its amazing the amount of boxes that go missing cause some kid rekons it has the game in. They are new as they have never been played. It allows the customer to see how many copies of the game we have.. which on some games it can seal the deal. I really cant see why its such a big topic.. cause it's been happening since the snes days here in the UK.. no one gives a toss

football is the correct term.. the rest of the world are the normal ones ¬_¬
"King Henry IV of England was the first to use the English word "football", in 1409, when he issued a proclamation forbidding the levying of money for "foteball" " It goes on to say he was reffering to the true football.. not some rubbish form of american football invented in the mid-1870s.
I am asking you to retract your statement of
"soccer to us normal people" as I do find this offensive.
http://www.answers.com/topic/football

btw.. I dont like football myself.. I prefer Hockey (thats Field hockey to you Americans ¬_¬ )
