A lack of DVD playback will not hurt Wii at all. Everyone who will buy a Wii already has a DVD player. Besides, it's all about the next generation DVD players now - haven't you heard?

Did this morning's news really surprise anyone? Kaz recently declared that the company hadn't started production yet. You knew there'd be shortages - and similarly, a European delay isn't a huge shock.
