Not sure if I somehow missed it after reading the article, but where/how/what platforms is this getting released for? Any chance to see this on XBLA? Steam?

@Doctalen This is from an acquaintance of mine who goes to any game expo he can, but still take it with a grain of salt as he's kind of a blowhard. What he has (or has claimed to have) seen is that it's sort of more like "Special Ops" mode of Modern Warfare 2. Little pieces of the campaign extracted, a couple objectives given and you (and up to 2 friends) just go at it. There are different difficulty settings and loadouts. He didn't really have any more information than that, but it sounded cool.

@TacoHell Agreed. I read an interview with Grohl that he didn't feel that current Rock albums had that feel of good rock, so he decided to "step back" and instead of working with a producer and computers to edit his music, he built a studio in his garage and produced the entire album by himself using tape (instead of digital tracks.)

Seriously though, best album since the Filter/STP "Army of Anyone" project.

I rented it through gamefly. I beat the campaign in less than 4 hours (I couldn't figure out how to change the difficulty settings!)

I then hopped onto a multiplayer game to be informed that unless I bought a "VIP"esque pass, I could only get to a level 5....

Granted, it was actually kind of fun...but if I can't get the multiplayer achievements, upgrade my guy OR actually play longer than 30 minutes without having to shell out more money than never mind.
