Being from the Toledo Area, I'm pretty sure it has more to do with NO Credit financing. Drive through a lot of areas in Toledo and you will see why some people call it "Little Detroit". There just isn't a lot of money there.

You still see a large share of Jeeps in Toledo, but Jeep employees get the same discount on all Chrysler products the same as Jeeps. You also see a lot of Dodge Rams and Chrysler 300s.

Now if Jeep would ever get around to making the JT they would probably see a pretty big boom.

This is one of my good friends! I check Joystiq for some wicked gaming news, and who's mug do I see! Bam! You guys have to lay off a little. Didn't your dad or mom ever dress up with you for fun? I enjoy stopping a theif as much as anyone, but isn't leaving a nice car running with the doors unlocked in a low income neighborhood trying to bait criminals like leaving a bag of money (from a bank that has been robbed) on the side walk and arresting people who pick it up to try to stop bank robberies?

Let me just say this first, I am a Nintendo and Microsoft fan when it comes to gaming. I love my DS and my 360. With that said, Sony's consoles will do well. There is a simple one word reason for this "Japan". As long as there is a Gran Turismo and a Final Fantasy there will always be a Sony console. Microsoft has tried to "give" their consoles away in Japan and they just won't sell. Japanese people are crazy about Japanese made video games. Most of them would punch their mother in the mouth for a new colored DS. I'm sure the month that the PS3 comes out there will be a lot of late rent payments made in Japan. Sony will keep a shortage in the States to keep demand high. Then they will use Japan to sell big numbers, in turn bringing down the price to produce the system. Come next Holliday Season 2007 the PS3 will be the same price as the 360, and I won't care because I'll be playing with my Wii!

OK, I don't usually do the whole quote thing. Most of the time it's anoying, but this time it's Legit! There is sooooo much wrong with this statement from our buddy Java Junky. "Nintendo gives you what you expect you're ecstatic" Most people are ecstatic when they get more than the expect, ala Mario Kart, Wario Ware, Advance Wars, so on and so on. I think most PSP owners (such as myself) have such LOW expectations that if sony would give us a game we could spend more than two hours with we would ecstatic. You have no idea how cool i wanted the PSP to be! It was everything I hoped and dreamed of. Those hopes and dreams are going down the drain! I don't want to watch 20dollar UMD's on my PSP. I don't want to Use it as a (crappy) MP3 Player, or view photos, or surf the web (with that clunky interface). I want quality games i can spend time with. Every good game (all Ports) I've already played on PS2. Why would i purchase it again (at full price) to play it on my PSP? I own every console, and portable (minus Ngauge). I am in no way a Fan-Boy, but you just can't argue this generation of PSP games are CRAP, Unless they're games we've already played. I give Nintendo credit for taking good games (Mario Kart) and adding enought to make them fresh and fun again. If they are "simplistic (aka crappy) cartoon kids games", so be it at least they are fun! Last time i checked, i game because it's fun.

I'm going to have to give the big Thumbs Down on the PSP right now. There has been two games that I've spent time with, MLB 2005 and VirtuaTennis, and I'm not a bit Sports Game Fan. Ports Ports and more Ports. I'm afraid developers are going to see it as too easy to port existing games, instead of developing new. Sony say that the DS is a "Gimic", What about MP3 players, Web Browsers, and UMD Movies. I'd much rather have fun with a gimic (touchscreen) than have to pay 20 bucks for a movie i already own! The only reason to own a PSP right now, unless you're a GTA Fan, is the HomeBrew stuffs. I hope and pray the developers come around, that was a lot of money to spend on something I barely use. I was hoping this holiday season would be really big for the PSP, but it's not looking that way :( Oh well, back to Mario Kart!
