Thanks to getting married, I didn’t have the option to starting into this game until now. I’m sad in that I watched with great interest during the development, and was excited when I read of the player based war that broke-out last year.
Having started into playing the game this week, I’m not totally unhappy. I pushed through the training segment to see what the “world” looked like, and have been amazed at how sparse the servers are.
I’m going to enjoy the game for awhile, because I enjoy Star Wars in general. But grind games aren’t my forte or interest. There seems to be a lack of real RPG opportunities, where I can get lost in the game. There isn’t any interaction in the game. No NPCs approach me. The totally lack of a manual in the starter kit I bought was pitiful.
With the other Star Wars games like Battlefront, Empire at War, and KOTOR going so well, I wish Lucas would pay some attention, and get somebody to do something. If they let this game fester in mediocrity much longer, it will poison any future efforts.
