I reserved a ticket for the line that formed out side my (Target) store so that my roomy could get one. EB screwed up his reservation. Once it got home, the system was placed on the wire stand I make him use(to provide airflow). The Brick set on the carpet with no issues and the system was on for atleast half a day straight. I personally think that the system is an oversized laptop, but its a new shiny in the house. My fellow programmer agrees that M$ shot themselves in the foot for even including a BSOD. I would LOVE to know the stats on these system probs though. I've Heard(so far) that None of the systems sold through my work have shown issues. I've heard Widespread talk about All the mall stores and places like BestBuy. Perhaps the shared plants are the culprit. Either way I'm waiting for the PS3 and think that it will make the 360 piss its pants. Noting that both systems will be in the same house. We have just about every Major system here(console/portable) and rarely an issue, even during those 36hour Halo parties ;-).
