Real men Wii standing up?

Dec 21st 2006 6:28PM (Joystiq)
Anyone who plays Wii standing up is living in a fanboy dreamworld, because it really isn't that fun or immersive of an experience. While no one (besides your mother when she comes down the stairs to offer you hot pockets) may see you doing it, remember god is still up there laughing his ass off at your infinite lameness.

Who should be my guest on tomorrow's CalacanisCast?

Nick Denton! I think it would be hilarious.

You guys, this is called guerrilla marketing, and isn't that uncommon nowadays. This campaign is a really terrible example, but don't blow it out of proportion.

It's also worse for the environment that they decided to go with AA's, and not have a rechargeable solution like the other systems. While some might go out and drop an additional $20+ on a set of rechargeable NiMH's and a charger, there are still a lot of consumers out there who will opt for the disposable kind, increasing the amount of battery acid that goes into the waste stream.

Fanboys, quit trying to spin it.

lol what a bad business decision - by making the game mac-only, they've pretty much cut out most of the people who might actually want to play their game.

We're not creating a better iPod--we're just *talking* about making a better iPod

OMG PLEASE MAKE THIS PRODUCT.

I think there is a real hunger out there for an anti-ipod, a high-quality and functional player without DRM, iTunes, and the whole image attached to the white earbuds. Put me down for one.

Yahoo! answers is much better, I think we can put a tick in their column for this one.
