Hudson: 'Your feedback has always mattered' in Mass Effect 3, even now
Mar 18th 2012 4:07PM (Joystiq)However, the final lines in the missive prove me right:
"We look forward to your continued support and involvement as we work together to shape the remaining experiences in the story of the Mass Effect trilogy."
I prophesied that, perhaps with all of this verbal feedback, they could use some of what fans are blathering about, and turn that into something better, a more fitting end.
So stop complaining, BUT keep talking. You want your endings? Have a good idea of what you want, and head over to their forums.
Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'
Mar 14th 2012 4:24PM (Joystiq)Exactly.
Thinking about it now, if I'm correct...
This will be an interesting completion to a trilogy.
Mass Effect 3 director defends DLC, endings with 'common sense'
Mar 14th 2012 3:28PM (Joystiq)To make you think? To make you react, to call bull, to demand a better ending? Or even to see what the hell happens right at that point, to make a judgement of it all?
Or perhaps that, yes, this is a complete d*** move, but made in order to get a rise out of the fans? One of Casey's latest tweet was a, "Thank you for all the feedback, keep it coming."
They're getting us to talk about it, demand a real ending, detail about what we would like to see. They've said they wanted fans to help write the story, maybe they've decided that this would make a great reaction, test our limits with the series.
Still, if that were the case, kind of annoying that they didn't put a definite, well written end to the series on the disc, but using that turmoil to generate fan ideals... I think it could work. Still a d*** move, but... could work.
Your Mass Effect 3 PC pre-order lets you pre-load the game now
Mar 2nd 2012 5:57PM (Joystiq)I believe the constant connection is required for just the multiplayer, and only a one time activation for the single-player. So I don't think I'm entirely screwed in that manner.

Mar 2nd 2012 4:23PM (Joystiq)Yes I mean PC version. People are so excited about digital downloads and what have you, but I'd really want to hold the disc in my hands.
That and the physical goodies, and not wanting my game suddenly unavailable to me via some technical goof.
