I didn't realise the batteries were replaceable, still 360 controller's handles batteries better, as you can immediately replace used batteries with fresh ones, instead of having to wait for the controller to recharge.
And you can use rechargeable batteries.

With regards to component video, it can output up to 1080p, not 540p, (and 540p is still higher than composite/RCA can output)

And you don't have to buy the wifi adaptor, I just use my laptop's shared connectio works fine.

And the extra cost of the HDD, can be avoided by buying a premium or an elite.

And the whole, the 360 didn't use to have HDMI output is silly, its like saying 'Oh, the PS3 controller didn't use to have vibration'.

And at least my 360 came with component AV cables, while my PS3 only came with composite cables that can't output HD, so much for being the 'Full HD' console, when it isn't out of the box.

It assumes that you wan't all those extra features.

Like with wi-fi, i just use ICS with my laptop to connect to live and it works fine.

While I am not big fan of GTA4 (especially the controls & driving physics), I don't think anyone who has any knowledge of the industry, can say that GTA4 as a title is more polarising than MGS4, sales alone would bear this out. MGS4 is very much like Marmite, some people absolutely love it, but more don't.

And I have played the demo, and watched enough gameplay video's to know what I'm talking about. I also base my opinion on someone else who has finished the game, and found exactly the same problems with the game that I did (the demo). Ie the sneaking and AI is not realistic, the action is worse due to controls and stupid enemy AI. I suspect you like the story, however I am no big fan of most Japanese anime, and while I can tolerate their typical silliness in games such as Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, FF etc. I simply can't in a series like MGS which tries to be serious most of the time, it just doesn't work from a Western perspective.

Its funny how people complain about GTA4 not being revoloutionary enough, when MGS4 is almost exactly like its predecessor's in terms of gameplay, except for better graphics, longer cutscenes, and controls that are actually usable this time.

GTA4 matured the series quite nicely, and although I'm not sure whether it should be game of the year, it is better than something like MGS4, which polarises opinion so much, that for that reason alone, it shouldn't be no 1.

No 1. should be a game that the vast majority of people like (or at least do not hate) and/or play.
For every MGS4 fan there are 3 people who hate it, the thing with the MGS series is that its so old, that most of its original fans are know in the gaming press, and due to nostalgia of the earlier titles, find it impossible to criticise the game, as people who have never played a MGS game before would.

MGS4 is not the best game of the year, perhaps if you're an otaku it is, but for western gamers it isn't.

It's more of an interactive movie than anything else, with a bizarre, typically Japanese story and execution.

However the acutally gameplay sequences were not up to scratch, the sneaking was largely the same as before, ie a largely artificial construct, where you play by the rules (or simply crawl slowly everywhere) and don't get caught, and as an action game it disappointed due to the core shooting gameplay, being unable to match top tier shooters.

The graphics are also overrated, while the character models are excellent (as with most Jap games) the environments do not match them with quality, and often have low res textures, which gives the game an inconsistent look. It doesn't look as good as something like COD4.

I guess gays will have to roleplay being straight in the virtual world of Home. Or play as female avatars.

And even funnier... they can't be gay in Home all due to a chat filter.

Lol , NG2 was way better than this Jap GoW clone. And Ryu is so much more badass than this ninja with a pirate eyepatch guy.

Guess they shouldn't have split from Rare and exclusively supported the PS3.
