You think trophies are ruining gaming? How? Oh because some people won't play good games without trophies. Oh boo-hoo. If someone won't play a good game because it doesn't have trophies that's their loss and won't affect you or anyone else because of it. Whilst I wouldn't buy or not buy a game just for trophies, they do provide a nice little replay value that if it's there great, if it isn't I'm no worse off.

I don't think that the excuse, "We're already too far into development" is a viable reason. If that's the case, how come soooo many other developers are putting them into their games that are either out now or within the next week or two.

I had no idea about the save file thing, and luckily it has done nothing for me. I didn't have the problem before hand but I can still play the game with my pre-patch save file.

But therefore once you've owned it for more than a year, it'll become more expensive due to Xbox Live. I had a mate who was gutted when he realised that he's now spent more because of Xbox Live.

I find it odd also. As a UK resident, I know more people with PS3s than 360s by about 3-to-1. And the whole the UK loves Nintendo think is bull as 80% of people I know that 'have' a Wii have already sold it or exchanged it as they never play it. I think sales whould be done in how many people still own the consoles they bought. (Although I have no idea how we could do that lol).

YES!

Yeah it's mainly the fact that they were like "we're offering retroactive trophies!". But they're not and they've known for a while.
