Sony has made tons of mistakes granted. But really If the Console war ended within the first year all systems were out, then whats the point?. Theres still a few good years left in this generation and I am betting that we are going to see more interesting things come up (I hope). The more competition the better. And if sony can turn things around then hey I am all for it.

On a side note. This generation of gaming just seems like the end of days with all the hate going around. I mean yeah fanboys have always been around but damn "Sony should Just DIE!" and shit like that. I mean come on unless sony ordered your whole family dead I don't think they deserve that. All this just seems equal to how racist hate other races. I don't get it, I own both systems and I just don't get where all this rage comes from. I like both they have different feels and I want both to stick around (nintendo will always be there so I am not worried for them).

In the end this is just games and we should all be happy to be apart of a cutting edge hobby. I mean we could all be knitting right now if it wasn't for these guys.

Wow, such hate for developers. How about you just be grateful they care enough to patch and shut up. They work hard and just like doing art with a game you can always improve. How many game before 360 and ps3 had problems and you couldn’t fix them? So why not enjoy a game and stop being so damn critical.

You know when people in the same field as you are successful and then deep down inside you pick something apart to some how make yourself feel better about not have an ad campaign of your very own.

Or better yet, you go to design school where teachers tell you these “Rules” of design (some being outdated) and then somehow it makes you a smug expert.

I see this all the time, and its funny! Anyway my point is I’m and Illustrator and a designer (so please no “you don’t understand arguments”) and in the end it works. You can pick at something for an eternity, anything, even if it’s great, good or bad. Also when you do give constructive criticism you also give the good ends not feed your ego for picking the “right” design school. I have done countless things that don’t go by printing rules or text treatment or the good old “adds are viewed at 3 sec page turns” yeah… yet I find my self reading adds that interest me (i.e. fun artwork).

Anyway my point is they are fun ads to look at and I can’t wait to see more of them. Could it be better? Sure maybe in a perfect world where everyone is happy, but we all know that doesn’t exist. When it comes down to it someone liked these and they are being printed end of story enjoy…

Belive it or not, Glossy is much better. I have a Sony LCD with glossy connected to my Dual Powermac G5 and its awesome. And this is only from the testimony of a sony screen so you gotta belive the apple display is going to be the sh*t.

Nice set up. Where did you get your screen from? I am currently using a Sony with my Powermac G5 and I am thinking of getting a second screen.

On topic: Why bother, console gaming is where its at. I like computer gaming and all but with this new generation its getting harder to sit infront of a computer. Other than for creative purposes.
