Blizzard Dota still on the way, has undergone 'some massive overhauls'

Valve has yet to put a price on DOTA2. It could be free for all we know. It could end up being like LoL, free with optional microtransactions. Why do you think Valve was testing the waters with the MannCo. Store? And they have several times said that with DOTA2, they will add a lot of community functionality into the Source Engine.

The indie origins of the Portal 2 'Potato Sack' ARG

Yes, I did play most of the other games, (except for Amnesia, that game gives me the creeps, and The Wonderful End of the World, I just didn't want that game) and they were all fun to play in. Maybe not everyone is skilled enough to get all the potatoes, but that's what I like the most. This throws me back to the times in which to achieve things in games you had to actually try.

I mentioned Audiosurf's example because, of all potatoes I got, that was the one that took the most time for me.

So "ton of work" = playing fun indie games.

I dunno, I spent four hours trying to get a Gold Medal in Audiosurf's Portal level, and I still feel like going back to play it. Also, I know of a few people that got all 36 potatoes and hadn't bought Portal 2, so that's a win/win situation for them.

Updated: Global Agenda adopting free-to-play model

I completely agree with this post. I bought the game several months ago and have been playing since then. One of the first things that attracted me was how similar it works to Guild Wars. It is especially fun when you join an active Agency (this games term for Guild) and go into PvP missions with peeps you know.
I mainly use Medic, and believe me, compared to Team Fortress 2, the Medic has a lot more to consider when healing team members in both PvP and PvE, so it is more fun, also, you can equip weapons that cause debuffs on enemy players.
There's also a very competitive side to the game in the form of AvA (Alliance VS Alliance) that is very reminiscent of WoE in RO, but here it is taken to a whole new level.
So yeah, I would say I enjoy this game.

DS Daily: Peripheral guilt

I'm a little ashame of this but, I don't have an R4 or anything like that because here where I live, everyone that does have one, use it to download games; I think that hardly someone even knows what homebrew means or is.
