Really dude? Have you even used a wp7 or browsed the marketplace? If anything, most apps are cheaper than their iOS/android counterparts. Also, best thing about wp7 marketplace is that practically every app has a trial, just like xbox live. No messing around lite versions or any of that crap.

Great article. I'm still struck by the point that Infinity Blade sold more than Gears of War. I wonder if these "indie" developers see this type of phenomenon a good thing or a bad thing for game development in the future.

One other way to define indie nowadays is by uniqueness. Indie devs will make titles that very non traditional and hard to be categorized into a specific genre.

It would be awesome if you guys could start putting links to the marketplace for these games. When I read these articles I'm (obviously) in front of my computer. When I eventually turn on my xbox hours later I've forgotten all about this game.

If you provide a link so I can download it right now that would make life much easier :-D

Interestingly enough, one of the oldest rules of software engineering is, "adding more people to a late project makes the project later."

The idea being that the time required to bring everyone else up to speed will slow everything down.

Its the opposite for me. After I customized my shepherd in mass effect 1 - its really weird to see a different shepherd on the cover/trailers.
