It has already been explained somewhere else: your character moves to the side with the more weight. However, when moving to a side, people usually press harder on the opposite side with the foot (to give impulse for the move), making the Wii think you are moving to the other side. Yes, the game could have been better programmed for sure.

Gah, what a horrible statement. According to your logic, they should have never developed the level because it would later become obsolete.

This happens in every game that receives updates, especially when the updates are so enormous. Welcome to the real world, man, the one us, MUD players, have known for, say, 20 years.

Hopefully Nintendo will publish the names of those who had requested the replacement, so that we can tease those idiots for not knowing how to play with a console :-P

Computer and videogames features a Virtual Console Interview where it is confirmed that European guys will connect to European servers. If it is hardcoded in the firmware, these discs could become eBay items in no time.

Down here in Argentina, a PS2 is currently at USD 275. New Xbox 360 were sold in auction sites at USD 900. Currently, a new one is at USD 750. Note that these are auction values, retail ones are usually higher. Luckily I import everything myself, and can buy a DS Lite for USD 150 after taxes, and games for USD 40.

Drug Wars, undoubtedly for single players. Genesis (telnet://genesis.tekno.chalmers.se 3011) for MUD. I still play them from time to time.
