There IS local co-op, it just isn't splitscreen.

Is that was indeed Cindy Morgan as Bradley's wife, her character's name was Lora, not Laura.

Let's Not Make Sam Worthington a Mega Action Star

Apr 3rd 2010 5:47PM (Cinematical)
Yeah, can we fix this? Sam is from Australia, not the UK. He may have been born in England, but he moved to Perth when he was very young. Calling an Aussie a Pommie is a pretty big insult.

SXSW Review: Harry Brown

Wow Nino, this must be the first time you've ever read a movie review. Most of this information is readily available in both the synopsis for the film, and the trailer. It's quite common for critics to discuss plot points and major events in a film. And oh boy, a TWIST in a movie? I'm so sorry if you think mentioning that constitutes a spoiler. Most movies should just go along at even keel and never change the tempo, right? Good grief, talk about nitpicking over nothing.

Klinger,

He definitely goes down that road, but there's never any commentary or reflection on it. It's very direct.

Where's a "twist" that gets explained? Have you ever read a movie review before in your life?

Read This: The Dying Days of Roger Ebert

No, I stand by what I said. Most people absorb something about film in their lifetimes, and then promptly forget it. Ebert is like a sponge and it stays with him.

More than that, Hewlett has a sizeable role as a corporate lackey. And he's great. And yes, Natali said in my video interview with hIm (up soon) that High Rise should be his next film.

It's the director talking in front of two canted screens: one showing the movie, the other showing details, effects, etc. Pretty cool stuff

Cinematical Seven: Sci-Fi Series That Need Movie Reboots

Derek,

Thanks for that update! It's cool to hear all that stuff, even if it sucks. We need those series on DVD! And it's so strange that ABC farmed out the rights to Batman to Fox to produce. What a tangled web.
