In the UK you can get the Battlechest for £15, which i guess is about $25, or if you want to buy them seperately it's £6.99 for vanilla, £7.99 for TBC and £17.99 for wrath so like £33 for all three. Amazon deal isn't that much of a saving for us.
Strikes of opportunity is 100% damage on live too, it was hotfixed i think. A couple weeks back i did a test of over 1000 white swings and the SoO average damage was identical to white swing average.
Didn't fix it for PSP. It happens to me on massively too so i assume it happens on the whole blog network, pretty annoying having to manually enter the i on every page load.
@Peter Remember that with MMO's, most of the profit is made on recurrent payments; Subscriptions and micropayments, the box sale makes up a tiny percentage of gross income. AoC lost so much because they had terrible player retention, largely attributed to the state the game shipped in. It was hyped up an obscene amount and sold a load of boxes on launch, when people realised the game was totally unfinished a lot of them left and didn't bother with the game again. From what i've heard now though, it's a pretty decent game and is chugging along, albeit with a much smaller playerbase.
As for SW:TOR... spending 100m on the dev of a new MMO seems pretty insane given the success rate of titles in the industry, and as past examples have shown, haing a strong IP is no guarantee of a successful game. It'll be a surprise if they get that into the black any time soon.
The best WoW shirts for me are the ones that people that no nothing about warcraft will think "cool design" and people that do will give you a knowing nod.
I use two different windows: Left window is my main one. The first tab is basically default, all channels except for party raid and battleground go to this one. I also have tabs in this window for Guild chat and Whispers, if the main window is moving too fast (trade spam etc) then i'll switch over to guild so i don't miss chat, the whisper tab also flashes when i recieve a whisper until i click it, so i don't miss any.
In my right window i have all party related messages: Raid, Party and battleground. This helps to keep track of any party communication and stops it getting confused or lost in the main one.
All done, with the default chat interface, it's really easy to set up.
I agree Eternauta. I loved the Worgen zone much more than the Goblin one on beta (they're both pretty amazing) because it really immerses you into the zone and the story. You feel like you're a part of the story much more in the Worgen one whereas i was always conscious i was playing a game in the Goblin one. Don't get me wrong, i love the humour in WoW, but i also love to be immersed in a believable world and i think the Worgen start zone pulled that off better.
The whole of Hyjal is basically one huge chain that explains it, i don't want to spoiler it though. I'll just say that the final quest in the zone is amazing.
