I'm a "diehard" fan with a PS3 and have made the switch to 2K. The Show is more popular for some reason, but people enjoy different things. The commentary is leagues ahead in 2K and the pitching interface in 2K is more rewarding and enjoyable for me. The pitching is the number one reason for me buying 2K.

It's surprising that a game that is "largely similar" every year constantly gets decent scores, considering a sequel to a regular game, that is similar and hardly unchanged, gets a bad score. Sequels get more time but even Maddens over a couple years don't change that much. I don't mind Madden. I've purchased my share, but now you can almost guess the score of a Madden game, regardless of what was added to it.

I have never understood the need or want to say "First" with a post. Does it make the person feel good? I just don't...

If you would have shown this tall zombie pic to me, I wouldn't have believed that it was from Dead Island. Good thing I found it before that happened.

Good point! Thanks for the feedback.

I'll give the stick punching a try with the demo, but button pressing just seems to have a quicker response and shorter travel to give a command.

@Chris DPSN AggieCEO XBLThe Aggi As much as I love Sony, I still can't let go of 2K baseball. Using the right stick for pitching in 2K is golden. I hated the metered/3-press pitching in The Show. I know that The Show is bringing right stick pitching this year but it's not in the same manner as 2K. Rex Huddler is gone so that's an improvement but 2K's pitching, stats, and commentary are things I'll take over visuals and presentation any day. The Show is still a great baseball game but I'm just trying to say that I'm glad there are 2 choices, especially ones that have differences.
