Marvel vs. Capcom 3 FightSticks shipping in time for the game

@Ezio Auditore da Firenze I have yet to pick up one of these fancy sticks. Do they have any weight to them at all or are they on the lighter side?

Dead Space 2 devs reflect on improved 'smoke and mirrors'

@RuleBook Definitely. It's easier to watch someone else play, but when you are the one controlling the character, it puts you "in there".

@RuleBook It's funny how a game can have an effect like that. Whether you're joking or not, Silent Hill 2 scared the crap out of me...that is, Silent Hill 2 scares the crap out of me.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One trailer shows off co-op destruction

@Anticrawl That's fair. And I'm all for new IPs, I see no problem with that. Fall of Man impressed me because I wasn't expecting an atmosphere and story presentation that it offered. The sequel gave the "big" experience. I guess it just has to fit with what the gamer is looking for and not everyone is looking for the same thing. As far as FPS being plentiful, I'm ok with that, as long as they're not all the same type. Modern Warfare and the new Medal of Honor is plenty for that type, but KZ and Resistance among others feel different enough to where I don't mind seeing them. I enjoyed Resistance very much but to each their own, of course.

@Anticrawl Resistance "mainstream"? Boring?! What makes it "mainstream"? Does it have to be created by an indie developer to not be mainstream? And because of the "boring" statement, I have to ask, did you play them both (and by play, I don't mean a few minutes and/or watched someone else play)?

The 3rd Birthday will be observed March 29 in North America

I am very excited for this game. Is it really that hard to make a PSN version for those with a GO or just because? Anyway, given a choice, I'll always take a physical copy, but it sucks that some won't be able to play this (for now perhaps).

Rumor: I Am Alive on PSN and XBLA

@tendoboy1984 While I agree with you, I still fear the day when retail/physical copies are a thing of the past.

Dead or Alive: Dimensions trades 'play patterns' via StreetPass

@gatotsu911 Yeah, you definitely can't go wrong in getting both. And as you mentioned, about the 3DS and NGP being different from each other, really makes it worthwhile to get both eventually. I wouldn't enjoy having two seperate handhelds that were both nearly identical, especially in the games they have. There will be plenty of reasons to own each handheld and that's a huge win for gamers (not so much for the piggy bank).

I am impressed with these responses. It's rare to see comments so unbiased and without fanboyism - especially on the 3DS and NGP! There's nothing wrong with preferring one of the "big three" but some people take it too far. Glad to see some civility.

As for your question, I'd pretty much write what Sponge said. I'm not much into "touch screen only" gaming, so I can't personally say to get the ipod. The NGP could replicate the multimedia aspect but it's still very soon. The 3DS will be out in March so that's a plus, as well.

Dead Space 2 includes code for 'Ser Isaac of Clarke' armor in Dragon Age 2

@Misfit Toy The second is pretty different from the first. Some people like that and some hate it. Good luck with the pile of shame. I can't seem to make progress with mine as so many great titles get released and then crazy deals pop up. I guess I'd rather have a pile of games than a pile of...well, you know.
