@(Unverified) #1: Your example doesn't work, period. For starters, Macs run an entirely different OS than Windows PCs. Secondly, games will still allow for cross-platform play there if the devs program for it.

Also, your whole spiel about the different stores? Do you really think devs would make such a troubleshooting nightmare as to have 4 ENTIRELY DIFFERENT versions of the same app? Beyond DRM, they aren't going to make any changes when submitting to multiple stores. It's the same APK, just like it's the same version of CoD:MW3 whether you bought it from Steam or Direct2Drive.

I really love this game. Best dollar I ever spent. (Bought it during a Steam sale.) Hell, I even decided to make a Let's Play of it. (My username on YouTube is the same as here.)
